Bikers for Mandela Day ride for women's rights
Zelda la Grange, Saint Seseli and The Bikers for Mandela Day ride again in Madiba’s name.
Madiba fought social injustice for 67 years, a legacy that since 2009 has been the driving force behind Mandela Day. This year over 100 bikers saddled up for women’s rights and who better equipped to lead the pack than Tata’s former assistant, author and motivational speaker, Zelda la Grange.
“In South Africa, violence against women continues, unabated. With this in mind, we have dedicated our 2014 journey to the survivors of gender-based violence. We want to encourage more women to speak out, to take action, to follow through so that their perpetrators can be brought to book.”
