Lauren Searll's love affair with all things French was inspired by annual holidays she and her late husband, Aaron, would take to France. So, when it came to building her dream home in Cape Town, she just knew it would have to have a certain, shall we say, je ne sais quoi.
Soliette, a portmanteau of Lauren's daughter's names Sofia and Juliette, is certainly a home with lots of heart. Filled with antiques and inspired by everything French, the décor is a beautiful mix of classic and new. Stepping into the family home, you’ll find it hard to believe that you’re in the middle of the Constantia Valley, and not in a magnificent villa in the middle of the French countryside.
