It is that time of year again were Cape Town becomes a mass of red and yellow flags and women rush around in a panic trying to figure-out exactly what is the world they are going to wear to this 'Larger Than Life' day. Raceday did not disappoint with masses of color, seriously high shoes and some rather wild hats. Jo Ann met up with Milliner Jacqueline Kolbe to find out about what the latest trends are in hat design and is presented with a gorgeous little number to complete her outfit.
We also chat to Hassen Adams, the owner of Past Master, who galloped away to victory and jockey Gerrit Schlechter, who had his first ever J&B Met win. For an emotional Adams it was a dream come true and he dedicated the win to his late father. Join Jo Ann to see who hit the nail on the head and who had a fashion disaster.
