Beauties raise funds for The Sunflower Fund
Fighting against leukaemia is tough but it also brings out the best in the human spirit - like The Sunflower Fun whose latest 50s-style celebrity fund raiser was both a lot of fun and a day sure to change lives forever.
Bonang is at the celeb studded The Sunflower Fund's fundraiser held at an exclusive Bishop's Court residence, La Montagne, where she has the chance to mingle with several former beauty queens. Formed by parent's of children battling leukaemia, The Sunflower Fund aims to increase the number of bone marrow transplant donors in South Africa. Aside from the fashion show and auction, the day’s entertainment included 50’s style synchronised swimmers, ballet dancers, a string quartet and an indulgent champagne lunch. The stellar model line up line up that brought designer Danielle Margaux’s beautiful creations to life included former Miss South Africa Amy Kleynhans as well as current title holder Rolene Strauss. A few celebrities strutted the catwalk too including actresses Hlubi Mboya and Bridget Masinga while radio’s Tracey Lange acted as the MC, lending her natural charisma and glamour to the event.
