Just when international rugby agent Rod Labuschagne thought that gorgeous model and blogger Brigitte Willers wasn’t interested in marriage – she proposed!
For former model Brigitte Willers and rugby player turned sports agent Roderick Labuschagne, it’s been the happiest of New Years because this is their first as husband and wife.
Rod’s sister, Freya, used to do Brigitte’s hair and often spoke of her brother. Through her, the two got chatting on Facebook, met up where he was playing rugby in England and so it began.
What made their choice of winelands venue so exceptional is a structure as North African in its look as it is South African by design. With Rod’s father, Chris Labuschagne in poor health, the bride asked him to join her dad in walking her down the aisle.
Having been played in by Ard Matthews, the newlyweds emerged to cheers from a chorus of rugby players, models and family. They’ve been best friends from the day they met, an ideal match, loving parents and now – husband and wife.
Between the bride doing marketing for a famous beach venue, writing her health and fitness blog, Rod’s agency, their family and friends – this couple are living the best of the good life.
