The lucky Jo-Ann heads just outside of Paris to the romantic Chateau d’Esclimont. This ‘jewel of the Renaissance’ as it is known, with its towers and balconies and turrets, is situated in the heart of a landmark 60-hectare park. This former family dwelling is perfectly positioned between the Versailles Palace and Chartres Cathedral. Jo-Ann takes in this tranquil setting whist rowing in the nearby pond and also experiences the countryside scenery from the sky, in a hot air balloon - which coincidently was invented by the French!
