Top Billing features Cheslin Kolbe's stunning wedding
Cheslin Kolbe’s and fiancé, Layla Cupido, return home from France for a summer wedding in the mountains and Top Billing was invited.
The way that Cheslin Kolbe has played for his new French club Toulouse this season, he’s been hailed as the Top 14’s best signing of the year. His fiancé Layla Cupido also invested her future in Cheslin when this much loved rugby couple recently said - I do.

Since we last spent time with the Stormers’ fullback and Currie Cup champion, he’s won an Olympic medal with the Blitzboks. His speed, sidestep and eye for a gap have proven he belongs with the international all-star team at Toulouse – and he has asked Chartered Accountancy graduate Layla Cupido to be his wife.

The couple’s new home in South Western France boasts mountains, vineyards and rich history but with most family and friends in South Africa, a Stellenbosch winelands venue was the best choice for the big day.

Cheslin’s groomsmen included Springbok Siya Kolisi and Sevens World Champion Justin Geduld who’ve both witnessed and supported the couple’s romance from day one.

The wedding day had to synchronize with guests busy defending our World Sevens series title and rugby tournaments from Japan to Europe - but everyone made time to be here.

There’s much rugby still to be played by twenty four year old Cheslin and his bride is the ideal partner to help him fulfil all his dreams. We wish The Kolbes a dream honeymoon on the island of Bora Bora, the best of married life and to Cheslin - the international opportunities he deserves.
