Every woman has the ability to wear that sexy red pout. The secret is choosing the right shade of red that works with your colouring and skin tone.
A woman with cool complexions and hair colours such as ash blondes and brunettes should stick to a cherry red colour while redheads should use a more subtle shade of red such as coral or wine red colours. When selecting that perfect red you should also take into consideration you lip shape. If your lips are thin, lighter shades of red will be more flattering, while those with fuller lips should look for deeper, darker reds.
When starting with your red lip application, make sure to line your lips carefully with a neatly sharpened lip pencil, your lip pencil should not be darker than your lipstick shade but rather the same colour .
Outline your lips with your lip liner, then apply the lipstick with a lip brush to the centre of your lips, then brush colour out toward the edges. Finally blot with a tissue.
