Christmas cake centred truffles

Christmas cake has come a long way from starting out as an English tradition that began as plum porridge! Spice up the old tradition with this delicious truffle recipe.

400 g Dark chocolate
180 ml cream
Christmas cake
4T Brandy
Cocoa for dusting
Melt the dark chocolate with the cream over hot water. Refrigerate until set. Cut the Christmas cake into 35 small cubes and soak in about the brandy. Roll into balls and mould the chocolate around the cake. Dust with cocoa or gold dust before serving.
