Gogos VS. Rugby players at beading for Madiba
Join us this week to see Cape Town’s finest beaders challenged some of SA’s fittest rugby players to a bead-off in the run up to Mandela Day.
With the fastest feet in rugby, Cheslin Kolbe could side-step you in a phone booth but what about his handling skills? Stormers players Cheslin, Juan de Jongh and Nic Groom tested their beading skills by going up against the best – a group of nimble-fingered gogos – to see who could bead more bracelets for Mandela Day and have bragging rights for a year. The aim of this bead-off is to highlight the importance of seniors who, in the spirit of Madiba, dedicate their lives to helping others. Join Jeannie D as she finds out more about this wonderful initiative!
