This week’s location is an industrial, loft-style home, with a basic barn-like structure. Inspired by traditional barns on Free State farms, the design also reflects the unique style of the owners with its suspended concrete structures and semi-circular bathrooms. Contrasting the industrial feel, the home is ‘green’, incorporating solar heating and power as well as rain water harvesting.
