On the search for a dinner destination, we got word of 360 Istanbul, founded by partners including South African chef Mike Norman. The restaurants name reflects on the menu - an irresistible choice of Turkish treasures that won numerous awards.
Named for its views, the restaurant had Lorna daydreaming of the aromas which kept her attention so far.
The name of this neighbourhood Bebek means “baby” in Turkish and is a reference to it being “the apple of the Bosphorus’ eye”.
With the world at such odds, Istanbul is a thriving example of how much of a shared love of life, culture and humanity we have - irrespective of our faith, race or politics.
