Tour of the two Volcanoes Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl - On this tour you can admire very closely the volcanoes Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl during a pleasant walk through the Paso de Cortés. This mountain pass that connects the two volcanoes is named after the conquistador Hernan Cortes, who according to legend, went there on their way to the Valley of Mexico in the year 1519.
From this height, approximately 3.500 m above sea level, you see incredible views of the volcanoes in the midst of unique and inspiring landscapes. At certain times of year you can watch the "Popo" almost completely snowed in its top, giving spectacular views. The striking fumaroles, caused by the constant volcanic activity of Popo, also create interesting shapes to capture them in pictures of memory.
At the end of the route will pass through the small town of Buena Vista so that those who wish, may buy some crafts or try a delicious dish of local cuisine.
