High attention to detail was expected on such a special wedding dress so the bottom border of the dress was hand beaded in a whimsical nod to an art deco floral pattern,done in seed beads, flat sequence,crystal beads and a swarovski beaded band at the top.
On Lee-Ann's wedding day, she still wanted to be herself only a more magical image of herself and to make her feel special. This is what this dress does, it only compliments her incredible beauty and does not drown her in the excess of overdone or over the top.
This dress with its couture construction and timeless elegance will definetly become a family heirloom."
WEDDING EVENING DRESS Designer - Gavin Rajah www.gavinrajah.com Gavin says: "The dress has been constructed around a hand draped asymmetrically bodice on ecru silk georgette that cascades in various layers over a silk satin lining that has a lace edging to it.
The dress has hand beaded rococo style Chantilly using a combination of satin finished glass beads and multi-faceted glass rocaille beads.
A waterfall of silk georgette over the front of the dress reveals a very cheeky slit in the dress. 21m of silk georgette was used in the construction of the dress and French lace that was imported from Solstiss in France. The beading and embroidery on the dress took over a month to complete and was all done by hand in our atelier."
