This week on Top Billing Lorna kicks off the show on a high note with the Soweto Opera Quadro. Since 2003, the local classical musos have been flexing their vocal cords and performed both locally and internationally. This year's an exciting one for the quartet as they're looking forward to another tour of Asia.
We catch up with the group to find out how they stay relevant, and also their unique approach to Opera. We also join them as they share another one of their passions – visiting schools in underprivileged areas off to teach them how to sing. They decided not to be that serious with their music and style, so that they can accommodate everyone. More than just a group, they are family. Talk about group dynamic.
