Lovebirds Jonathan and Jay in their iSimangaliso Habitat
This week on Top Billing, Jade takes a journey to the breathtaking iSimangaliso Wetland Park in Kwa Zulu Natal, with another breathtaking sight – lovebirds Jonathan Boynton Lee and Jay Anstey.
Stretching two hundred and twenty kilometres up the coast from Maphelane on the Mozambique border, the setting for a romance like theirs doesn't come more epic than this.
The word iSimangaliso means "miracle" in Zulu and the park is a world heritage site, with unique and beautiful landscapes – the ideal place for two very real people to put their celebrity status into perspective.
Even though the waters are the habitat of the world’s oldest fish, the coelacanth, and all eyes were on the lookout, we soon realised that Jonathan only has eyes for Jay.
Don't miss the story of this couple's journey on Top Billing this Thursday at 7:30pm on SABC3.
