Once the story has been shot it still needs to go through a huge transformation to get to what you see on you tv each week. It is at this point that the editors take over and weave together the story whilst keeping the integrity of the directors original thread. The colours are tweaked, a narration added and a sense of unity and flow is created between each insert to create a show that has defined peaks and movement.
