The not to be missed dancing spectacle is back in South Africa and after sixteen years of entertaining people around the world it still holds the power and awe of when Michael Flatley hit the stage in a seven minute interval act during a Eurovision show. Michael as long moved on but the essence of the original dance is still very much there. The name 'Riverdance' originates from 1994 Eurovision show which was themed, The River. The dance was choreographed to evoke the flow of the river, crossing the land to meet the sea. Join us as we go behind the scenes of this epic production to meet the people and dancers who have dedicated themselves to the legend that is Riverdance.
