Top Billing presenter Jeannie D recently visited Kings Park Stadium in Durban for the launch of the new Sharks mascot in 3D! "Sharkie' as he is more affectionately known is sure to be a hit with the whole family and he has definitely won the heart of Jeannie.

Fans of the Sharks were in for a fantastic surprise on Friday when the new 3D SHARKIE was revealed at Kings Park. The Sharks ‘running man icon’ that forms part of The Sharks logo device is The Sharks official mascot and has undergone a superhero three dimensional transformation!
Here at Sunrise we are proud to have been given the opportunity to transform Sharkie into a character that really identifies with kids (and adults!) in the 21st Century. It has been fantastic working with The Sharks and we’re excited that they can see how animation really does have the power to cross age, cultural and race barriers better than any other medium.
