This year the destination was Greyton in the Cape Overberg - just the place for a wedding. The network that brought us the classic ‘Yebo, gogo’ campaign are changing the game once more with an ad sure to become a public favourite. It’s the tale of a much loved but forgetful pastor who realizes he’ll be hopelessly late in getting to a country wedding he was due to preside over. Luckily, he’s with the right network.
Alongside the cast of professional actors, the ad features real life couple McKenna Manacas and Justin Paulse which lends real heart and on-screen chemistry to the campaign. Together with the timeless design of Gert-Johan Coetzee, this sweeping ad is a heart-warming story about a very human situation with a smart, homegrown solution.
