Terry Pheto & Mampho Brescia launch a new Edutoy business

Terry Pheto and Mampho Brescia have entertained and informed us in Oscar winning movies and hit tv shows. More recently, their most devoted audience has been children as this enterprising duo launched the coolest, smartest new range of toys. 

 Both of these South African dynamos have careers in overdrive. Terry recently won Best Supporting Actress at the UK National Film Awards for her role in A United Kingdom and just signed an endorsement with a famous brand of watch. Mampho is flying high as the lead villain in a top S.A. soapie and somehow they‘ve found time to start a business together.

To see their new range of toys making a difference, we joined these educational entrepreneurs at Save-The-Children-South-Africa's Early Childhood Development Centre in Alexandra. The reaction of the kids spoke volumes.

The business is a natural fit for friends to whom learning while playing is central to their profession. With success they have lost none of their fun, childlike fascination with the world and it’s a wonderful way to grow up.
