There's nothing appealing about a noticeable bra strap ruining the allure of your shoulders in a delicately strapped cocktail dress. Though there are solutions out there; such as strapless bras, clear plastic straps and those rather complicated multi-strap bras, they can be uncomfortable and leave you feeling awkward. A far chic'er way to solve this problem is to visit a tailor who can make attach-able straps for your bra, using satin or velvet ribbons (double up for extra strength), or even bejewelled trims. This way the straps from your underwear, compliment your outer wear and not detract from it.
