If you’re pilot Peter van der Spuy then the best of the good life means jet-setting the globe. But of all the exotic destinations he visits, his home is still his favourite – and it's about to become yours too!
Whether he’s cruising at over a thousand kilometres an hour in the cockpit of the Gulfstream business jets, or at a few hundred kilometres an hour around his local race track, high speed machines are the one constant in the life of this petrol head pilot and aviation consultant. And it's this passion that echoes throughout his house.
Built in 1856, this Victorian period building contains a beautiful mix of old and new. Being a jet-setter, Peter has been able to collect pieces from around the world, which not only show off the benefit of his work, but also his highly creative design eye.
Just as fascinating as this combination of modern, heritage and nomadic design are the incredible stories of adventure which Peter fills the space with. He loves having friends around, and there’s always some new adventure to tell them about, and it's this irresistible attitude that just keep moving him forward.
