Top Billing attends a wedding of international proportion
We take you to the incredible wedding of French-Beninese financier Hamet Aguemon and journalist Yolaan Begbie, attended by loved ones from all across the globe.
Jo-Ann meets the groom Hamet Aguemon, whose entrepreneurial business brought him all the way to South Africa, where he met the woman of his dreams Yolaan Begbie. The couple partly have a cellphone charger to thank for them getting together and eventually ending up at this beautiful outdoor chapel. Aleit Swanepoel of the Aleit Group says his biggest challenge for orchestrating this event was the weather. With clear skies on the beautiful big day, he couldn't be more please to tell Jo-Ann the wedding has a royal and opulent theme, based in shades of metallics and pastels. Guests from as far as France, Nigeria, Cote d'Ivoire and Benin got to celebrate the day with the couple, while the Marimba band Yolaan had met at the Waterfront set the ideal tone.
