Top Billing explores the Tin Tin Museum

Simba is in Belgium, the country that gave the world Tin Tin, the international comic book hero who had a museum built in his honor.

Published in 70 languages and made into a Steven Spielberg film, the tales of the brave young journalist Tin Tin just keep selling. Simba visits the Tin Tin museum where he learns more about the 50 year career of cartoonist Georges Remi who wrote under the pen name Hergé. With over two hundred million copies sold from before the Great Depression, through World War II right up to today, it's no wonder his work has inspired artists around the globe. The museum is filled with items paying tribute to a character that has made an impression on many generations.

Travel to Belgium's Tin Tin Museum with Top Billing, Thursday 8:30PM on SABC3.
