This Saturday on Top Billing we introduce you to two of SA’s proudest exports - opera stars Kelebogile Belong and Golda Schultz! A showcase of South Africa’s most sparkling operatic talent, Opera Jewels recently thrilled Johannesburg. Two of its brightest gems, Kelebogile Belong and Golda Schultz might both be based in Germany, but they couldn’t have be more excited to dazzle in the homeland that has their heart.
Back from performing variously in New York, London and Europe, our stars were happy to be home.
Golda and Kelebogile had their gowns created by another dynamic South African talent in designer Machere Pokane. Ones they had to be able to comfortably breathe in.
Directed by maestro Kutlwano Masote conducting the Chamber Orchestra of Johannesburg, our jewels truly dazzled!
