He came, he saw, he performed and conquered the hearts of all who were lucky enough to see him. When The King of Cool, Pharrell Williams rocked Joburg in a one-of-a-kind private concert, we were there to witness it!
This week on Top Billing we bring you all the highlights from this unforgettable experience! The exclusive private concert was thrown by Woolworths as a thank you to some of their loyal customers who'd each won themselves a ticket!
Not only were concert goers treated to an opening performance by GoodLuck but prior to the show, they could indulge in an incredible pop-up food market where they could fuel up on an array of festival fare.
The VIP room was filled with top South African media personalities who eagerly awaiting the singer to take to the stage and they were definitely not left disappointed!
Pharrell had invited children across SA to enter the Woolworths and MySchool Sing With Us competition and whilst the choir from Collin Mann Primary had won a fantastic cash prize for their school, the biggest reward by far was getting to perform on stage with the man himself.
That evening, 4000 people agreed with all their might and we are sure that His Royal Coolness sees that as a pretty good start. Which only leaves us to ask the rest of our Pharrell-loving nation – Are YOU with us too?!
