Furniture designer Liam Mooney’s apartment is a working exploration of the art of interiors.
Growing up on a farm in Nelspruit, Liam moved to Cape Town in 2000 to study industrial design. Now a successful furniture designer and interior expert, he welcomed us into his apartment for a refreshing take on style.
Although he displays it artfully, Liam enjoys the strange beauty in ugly furniture too. As a backdrop he suggests a neutral palette as that ages better but colour has its place.
