Top Billing features the wedding of Lions star Courtnall Skosan and Semone Ramsing
Lions star Courtnall Skosan sure won the biggest prize when Semone Ramsing said yes and Top Billing scored an invite to their special day.
The couple met through friends and began dating three and a half years ago. Through two of those years, Courtnall’s been part of a Curry Cup winning team now on course for the SuperRugby semis - so these are exciting times. They chose the Monte De Dios venue for its name, meaning ‘Mountain of God’. Designer Dennis Lloyd had approached Semone about creating a dress for her.
They brainstormed, sketched and a Parisian Haute Couture knockout was the result! The mermaid cut, vintage Italian lace and the ring worked together like magic. At the reception, a sweeping LED screen was used to project the happy history the couple have enjoyed together. Harps and rugby players aren’t often found in the same venue but the groom’s brother, Arthur told us all about the star’s emotional side. There is a connection of mind and heart with Courtnall studying a BCom in Informatics and Semone finishing her psychology degree. This couple shows us that together, all is possible.
