Top Billing gets inspired with David Hounson
To succeed in tele-sales you need the perseverance of a Tour de France cyclist. David cut his teeth in that impossible environment, then publishing, advertising and ultimately the business of inspiration as a motivational speaker.
As much as David’s a motivation to young business people, they are his inspiration. Like Kelvin Joel. The first black pastry chef at a top Sandton hotel and member of the SA Culinary National Team, he opened a cooking school with his wife Jarlyne Joel.
Along with their paying students they also train prospective chefs from under resourced communities.
For every success, these young movers have had many more setbacks. That ability to keep going is what sets them apart.
Joel’s aim to produce future chefs who are as independently minded as they are efficient in the kitchen.
