As we celebrate Youth Month this June, Nay Maps and Kay SIbiya have made good on every opportunity freedom has offered. Since they swim with the sharks of the underworld every day in their hit series, we wanted to see how they would do in the water with some real-life ragged-tooths!
At uShaka Marine World, we booked the gents a dive with KZN locals, the Ragged Tooth and Zambezi sharks. They were in for a treat as the Xpanda Shark Dive puts nothing but clear acrylic between you and the Indian Ocean’s top predators.
Kay left Durban for Jozi with only R50 to his name. Pretoria born Nay Maps studied IT but followed his heart into showbiz. Now Uzalo’s made them household names. A year or so ago, these stars were undiscovered, but they are proof that opportunity awaits if you go out to find it.
