Top Billing hangs out with musical talent Ross Jack
Working with some of the hottest South African artists, Ross Jack is on his way to release his second album.
Ross Jack came to our attention laying down beats for Toya Delazy, HHP, Chiano Sky and Khuli Chana. Now he is on his way to releasing his second album and it will surely get you to your feet. Ross spent a year between SA and the UK writing and recording the album ‘Self Medicated’.
We joined him and his crew at the new Killarney pad to go behind the music. Ross grew up in Benoni, did high school in Spain, moved to the UK then back to SA at 18. He started college but once he began making beats, music became everything.
Ross defines his musical style as Trip Hop and Electric Soul. He writes his music in the comfort of his own home and soon you’ll be hearing the new material live on stage.
