The 40th birthday of actress and entrepreneur Sorisha Naidoo was always going to be a celebration of the best things in life and here’s how this epic party in Umhlanga played out.
A party at this landmark hotel shows how far Sorisha has come from the young girl who worked the till at her parents’ shop. She’s a journalism graduate, been a radio host and actress on shows like Home Affairs. She’s built a beauty products business, earned this lifestyle and Laura Kidd was there to help her enjoy it.
Sorisha produces many events and charity functions so for once, she was happy to let Pravina Coombs manage it all.
Close friends and family had already joined the birthday girl for a few days in Mauritius. This event was to share the love and celebration with her greater circle of friends and colleagues.
Among the many heartfelt tributes on the night, was a speech by Sorisha’s husband and father of their children, Vivian Reddy.
The guest list included co-stars from her acting career and time as a TV presenter, her charity work with women and children and a fascinating cross section of friends including Mo Magic.
