Evita is about the rise of a working glass girl to become First Lady of Argentina, Eva Perron. With the show’s original Broadway director Hal Prince at the helm of this production, Louis Zurnamer is working with musical theatre royalty.
Top South African talent, Robert Finlayson takes the role of a controversial, political figure.
To play the title role, creators Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice personally cast British musical theatre star Emma Kingston. It is a big deal, playing the central character in a show directed by Hal Prince, who has won more Tony Awards than anyone in history.
