Sanmari saw a gap in the market for affordable, locally made proudly South African rugs and along with business partner Violet Nkosi, they’ve done the hard yards and now supply major retailers.
Before Sanmari was a designer, she did a diploma in Mechatronics - which covers several different fields of Engineering. This combination of mechanical thinking with creative expression makes her a thrilling artist.
Moving effortlessly from creative concept, through the technical elements of making her product, to understanding what the public wants, Sanmari has create a business that she dreams to soon export beyond the continent.
