South Africa is the 10th largest wine producer in the world, so it's only natural that we host some of the greatest winemakers. The Diner's Club Winemaker of the Year awards have been running since 1981and the creme de la creme of the local wine industry attended this year's event at a luxury hotel in Franschhoek. Nico meets the Winemaker of the Year award winner Jacques Erasmus from Spier Estate, who has been making wine at Spier since 2003. We meet his family and get a taste of some of his incredible blends.
