We swing by the massive sporting event with possibly the strongest men in the world!
The big daddy of strength and power sports has got to be the one and only Arnold Schwarzenegger – who was recently in town for the Arnold Classic Africa. A tournament like no other, as you’d expect of an event bearing this man’s name. It’s a big affair, with 47 different sporting codes, all of which look to Arnold Schwarzenegger as their inspiration.
In the same venue, it was easy to find the Strong Man contest and its major drawcard – a 27 year old former Icelandic basketball player who turned to weightlifting, then Strong Man contests and now Game of Throwns star, Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson. Frightening on screen, good guys off it, giants really do exist and we met two of them!
