Star of The Bold and the Beautiful, Texas Battle tells of a chance meeting with South African kids and how they brought something incredible into his life.
Since 2013, South Africa has been a second home to Texas and we’d come to Kariega Private Game Reserve to find out what the connection is all about. Now 35, this son of America’s Lone Star State made quite an impact on millions of fans of The Bold and The Beautiful and others are now benefitting greatly from his success.
From the age of 7, Texas was raised by his mother. His uncle proved to be a significant role model and that’s what he in turn has become to these children. Inspired by their celebrity guest and his support of these children, Kariega Game Reserve funded this experience for 26 of the kids to join Texas on safari.
With enough love for a hundred plus kids, he must have a heart the size of a whale.
