Uplifting images for the Mandela Day photo competition

A picture is worth a thousand words and local celebrities and citizens took this to heart with the Mandela Day photo competition.

Launched this May, the competition saw scores of uplifting images of life in South Africa posted on the website 67photos.co.za.

The winners had their work published in a digital book on Mandela Day and the co-founder of the initiative Christopher Rory Page could not have had a better response.
