To call former Mr. South Africa and paediatric trauma doctor Michael Mol an over achiever – would be an understatement. But, what Top Billing audiences soon learned in his decade as the anchor presenter of the show, was that he always did it with a disarming sense of humour.
Raised and educated in Pretoria, today Michael calls Cape Town home and Muizenberg his back yard.
While enjoying a healthy lifestyle of his own, Michael’s drive towards affordable, universal healthcare has seen him launch Hello Doctor - a game-changing mobile technology which gives anyone access to doctors, anytime, anywhere.
His constant support continues to be his wife and mother to their three children, Jacqui Mol. Top Billing was a family show from day one and The Mols gave that idea real meaning with their willingness to be on camera.
Jacqui is a strengths-finder coach, who together with author Deborah Kirsten is enabling and empowering women to find their calling and live their best story.
Joshua, seventeen – Rachael, fifteen and Naethan at nine years old, have each found their own, strong voice within the family.
