Afternoon Express presenter Bonnie and her two sons, Micaiah 8 and Hanniel 7 are a tight unit and since she moved herself and the boys to their new home in the Cape, any spare time is an excuse to explore.
As the coast experiences its crazy busy summer season, heading inland offers more peaceful adventures like guided horse rides in the foot hills of the Langeberg Mountains.
While Bonnie has used her writing to work through tough times in the book Eyebags and Dimples, she finds this kind of activity healthy for mind and soul too.
Bonnie’s empathy and cross section of interests make her both an excellent mother and a natural tv presenter. Her work on Afternoon Express saw her nominated for Best Talk Show Host of 2017 and she loves the diverse opportunities her work offers.
The TV personality’s choice to wear her natural hair with such unaffected style has also made her a symbol of authenticity in the industry. Bonnie adopted one of her kids as an infant and now two boys benefit from one great mother.
