To the music world, Arno Carstens is the voice of one of our all time greatest rock-bands. To his son, Hayden, he’s just dad. So we took a day to see him in that role – as a father who simply happens to do this other thing called rock ‘n roll - on the side.
Music kept Arno and Mel on the road for ten years. Once they had Hayden and needed a permanent home, they chose to fix up a grand, old dame.
A collaborative artist in music and fine art, Arno has painted works together with the late Barend de Wet as well as his dear friend, the renowned Beezy Bailey.
