On Top Billing this week we bring you entrepreneurial power couple Jenna Clifford and Dex Kotze, who have achieved a rare feat in life and got the balance right – and their home says it all.
This is the private side of the partnership behind the renowned Jenna Clifford brand. A country life in White River where Jenna, Dex and their three daughters Summer, Chanelle and Shayna live with their broader family of horses, dogs and a menagerie of animals.
The immediate difference you see here is that the family cottage is integrated into the fabric of Baronmere farm. Instead of building a manor that lords it over the landscape, the owners’ lives merge with that of the surrounds and animals. One aspect of the house that reflects this is the majestic welcome through beautifully elegant stables.
Downstairs, the kitchen leads out to a herb and vegetable garden, helping to make Jenna’s dishes almost as renowned as her jewellery - but it’s her décor recipe that most got our attention. If one theme is to be found, it’s horses. From the whimsical and oriental to the light feature over the stove, Jenna's signature touch is artfully represented around the house.
