Racing driver Gugu Zulu and his adventure loving wife Letshego’s idea of an island holiday is likely to be filled with adrenaline. Now that they're a family with the addition of baby Lelethu, their idea of a perfect getaway has changed – but only a bit.
Located in one of the last remote creeks on the island, La Plantation d'Albion Club Med is all about sophisticated design in a natural haven. Something perfect for the Zulu family. We made sure to hook this adventurous family up with the best that Mauritius has to offer, with the ocean just a stone throw away.
If relaxing on the beach all day isn't quite your thing, there are plenty of activities to discover on the island, with Jonothan and Gugu going head to head in an archery contest before getting behind the wheel of 110 horse powered seakart to do some ocean exploring.
As for Mrs Zulu, she took to the skies at a flying trapeze academy, showing that nothing can scare this woman. After her impressive display, we wouldn't be surprised is she gets a call from Cirque du Soleil in the near future.
This adventurous family never seems to slow down, but stopping to smell the roses whilst chasing the dream – that is something the Zulu's have all worked out.
