Juan de Jongh gets married in Stellenbosch

Rugby champ Juan de Jongh scores his biggest try - Marrying fiancé Simone Laurens


Rugby has brought Springbok and Wasps midfielder Juan de Jongh fame, good fortune and now his dream bride – Simone Laurens.



The couple have enjoyed two happy years at British club Wasps. Juan has re-signed for two more years and with their now six month old baby daughter Emily, the family is sitting pretty.



With Juan having lived in Stellenbosch and Simone studied here, it was a fitting venue for them to have their wedding.



The bridesmaids were first to see the gown bought in Shakespeare’s hometown of Stratford and their dresses were a vision in gold



Brexit or no Brexit, the couple will play whatever’s in front of them. An approach that’s already taken them far.
