Lorna catches up with her former ballet partner Andile Ndlovu
This week on on Top Billing, Lorna finds out that she's still got the moves, as she pirouettes along with home-grown ballet dancer Andile Ndlovu.
Only starting ballet at the age of 15, Andile is headlining the epic new South African production A Spartacus of Africa, and is currently in his fifth season with The Washington Ballet. Spartacus tells the story of a man who is willing to give up his life for his freedom, and to save his beloved wife and people – a true home-grown story.
Inspired by West African dance, East African design, and accompanied by the Cape Philharmonic Orchestra, this roles is a dream for Andile.
