Lorna meets with fashionista Mpho Lebajoa in London on Top Billing 

We sometimes struggle to keep up with the jet-setting of our own Lorna Maseko and this month she’s been hanging out in London - but not alone. Our globe trotter met up with the very stylish Mpho Lebajoa, who was only too happy to take Lorna shopping, sipping and… skating.

From the moment Mpho and her sister Nyane began posting beautiful images and content online, they inspired young women to be individuals. Their styles also reflect the maverick spirit of London.

Born in Lesotho, their parents moved to the UK when they were younger, and starting with thrift store purchases they developed a love for fashion. After starting a successful Tumblr page and then moving with the times to Instagram, the sisters have become respected bloggers and influencers.

An unwavering support in Mpho’s career is her mother. Instead of pressuring her daughters to pursue academics, she saw their flair, encouraged them, and often takes Mpho’s pictures.

Mpho first got to showcase her look on non-uniform days at school. She earned a BA Hons Degree in Fashion Buying and has an educated eye for style, while preferring a minimalistic style and neutral colour palette.
Knowing Lorna is also a fashion-lover, she took her to the Vanessa Gounden store in London, known for its beautiful trench coats and chic style.

After a successful day of shopping, Mpho treated Lorna to a rooftop bar that offers ice skating and hockey!
Soft spoken in person, Ms. Lebajoa’s statement of independent style has been heard far beyond this city, and [the world of] fashion is more interesting for it!
