The summer of love has begun, and this week the wedding of former Miss SA Nicole Flint to businessman David Van Heerden is our Top Billing exclusive.
Since she took the crown in 2009, Nicole went on to make the top 10 finalists in Miss Universe, hosted a reality show with DJ Fresh in Mexico, been part of the launch of on-line radio, been a top-flight sports reporter, guest starred on a daytime drama and got engaged to businessman David Van Heerden. She's clearly not just a pretty face, but on her wedding day she was nothing less than flawless.
There was no question about the wedding dress Nicole had in mind, and designer Anel Botha brought those dreams to life. An elegant gown in Spanish lace with detail in pearl and Swarovski crystals, it was a twist on a very traditional dress, but with a whole lot of drama.
The couple’s choice of venue was slightly more complicated. After 58 venues, they came across Cranford Country Lodge, an Appaloosa stud farm. With bride and groom equally besotted with horses, they knew this was it the moment they drove in.
For Nicole and David, the day couldn't have been more perfect, making memories that will last a lifetime.
