The spectacular wedding of Mohammed Aamir Ali and Kauthar Abrahams

Two proud, traditional communities from Durban and Cape Town come together – in love. The marriage of Mohammed Aamir Ali to Kauthar Abrahams adds to the wealth of diverse wedding cultures we’ve been invited to celebrate.

On his visits to The Cape, Durban restaurant entrepreneur Aamir met Law student and transport business director Kauthar through family. They began dating last year, Aamir’s father flew down to propose marriage and it was clear what a good match the couple were.



While Aamir is passionate about motorsport, once he met Kauthar, their friendship became the centre of both their worlds.

Wedding planning was delegated to mother of the bride Tasneem Abrahams and the sisters-in-law, from both sides.



Their wedding was a wealth of diversity - a celebration of love married two cultures in joyous celebration.

In the future, Kauthar is looking forward to graduating and Aamir wants to move his business to The Cape.
