Top Billing attends the GQ Best Dressed Men Event
Top Billing meets South Africa's most stylish men
It's the annual event that brings all of the countries most stylish men to one place, and this year's GQ’s Best Dressed Men didn't disappoint.
As the song goes - ‘Every girl’s crazy about a sharp dressed man’ and the same is true – whichever field you’re in. The contenders for the title ranged from editors and directors, to hip hop artists, pro golfers and the profession which Theo Ngobeni invented for himself after going from being a banker to a personal stylist.
Our very own SABC 3 Programme Manager Hamilton Ngubo also made the distinguished cut and believes being stylish is an extension of who you are as a person. Presenter Search on 3 winner Thabiso Makhubela was another finalist, and looked sharp in an incredible suit.
While all of the finalists looked amazing, only one coud take the title of winner, and social media influencer, Seth Shezi took the coveted spot, and is officially SA's most stylish man, which is fitting as he has always enjoyed the magazine.
What made Seth unbeatable in the end, is that as a contributing editor on a major lifestyle magazine, he covers every kind of style and has distilled dressing down to simple, failsafe essentials.
Let’s face it – guys care about how they dress, as much as women do, but it wasn’t always cool to admit it. To the modern, liberated male – it’s become a source of pride.
